June and July saw the arrival in the village of the production crew and cast of the popular ITV, long-running series, “Vera”, on two occasions to work on scenes for the final episode of the final series. They took the Village over completely on both days they were filming.
The plot was kept a secret, but it appears to be centered around a traditional village witch hunt that involved over a hundred extras dressed in bizarre costumes carrying-out strange rituals!
Signs were changed; the village name was changed; even the pub name was changed!
And then there were the extras!
